      Required information can be obtained from digital image which has an important application in techology. Image segmentation is suitable process to get data from color image. Because of this, segmentation is crucial subject in image processing.

In this thesis, color image segmentation is performed to different images with automated seeded region growing algorithm. Threshold value with which seed pixels are selected among seed pixel candidates is related to relative Euclidean distance of image edges. The threshold value changed dynamically makes selection of seed pixels be more effective. Thus, automated seeded region growing algorithm with dynamic threshold value determines to more correct areas and edges of color image.
