Prof. Dr. Yurdanur Dikmen completed her undergraduate education in Nursing at Sakarya University and her master’s and doctoral degrees at the Institute of Health Sciences, Ege University. Throughout her academic career, she has conducted research on fundamentals of nursing, digital health technologies, evidence-based nursing, simulation-based education, and the integration of technological applications into nursing care and health education. Her main research interests include the adaptation of artificial intelligence, digital health, and innovative educational technologies to clinical practice and educational processes.

She has been recognized with the “Excellence in Education Award” for her institutional contributions to improving the quality of nursing education and the “Academic Achievement Award” for her leadership in externally funded projects. She has served as a principal investigator and researcher in numerous TÜBİTAK- and European Union-funded projects. With a scholarship from the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), she conducted studies on simulation and health technologies at the University of Illinois, USA. She currently serves as the Coordinator of Scientific Research and Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Kocaeli University of Health and Technology.
