Ükke Karabacak

She graduated from Istanbul University Florence Nightingale School of Nursing in 1992 and worked as a nurse in the General Surgery ward at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine Hospital. She began her academic career in 1994 and completed her doctoral degree in the Department of Nursing at the Institute of Health Sciences, Istanbul University, in 2004. She was awarded the title of Associate Professor in the field of Nursing in 2012 and earned the title of Professor in 2018 after completing the necessary academic requirements. She worked as a research assistant and later as a faculty member in the Department of Fundamentals of Nursing at Marmara University School of Nursing until 2010. She is currently serving as the Head of the Department of Nursing at Acıbadem University Faculty of Health Sciences.

Her research focuses on nursing education, simulation, the nursing process, comfort theory, and evidence-based care practices.
