
Dr. Gülsüm Zekiye Tuncer serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatric Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Dokuz Eylül University. She completed her undergraduate education in the Department of Nursing at Ege University and her master’s and doctoral degrees in the Psychiatric Nursing program at the Institute of Health Sciences, Dokuz Eylül University. Her research interests include psychiatric nursing, nursing education, eating behaviors, and digital health applications.
Dr. Tuncer’s work focuses on the applications of generative artificial intelligence in nursing, the use of large language models in academic and clinical processes, attitudes toward artificial intelligence, and AI-supported methodological evaluations. She has published numerous studies in internationally indexed journals and conducts research centered on the use of artificial intelligence in nursing.
