She graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Ankara University and completed her doctoral education in 2004 in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry at the same faculty. She worked as a specialist dentist at Tepebaşı Training and Research Hospital under the Ministry of Health and at the Medical Devices Clinical Research Unit of the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency. Since 2020, she has been serving as a faculty member in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. She is married and the mother of one child.
