Fatih Keskin

Born in 1971, Prof. Dr. Fatih Keskin began his education in Germany at Hamburg Gymnasium Alstertal and later graduated from Kabataş Boys’ High School in Turkey. He completed his undergraduate degree at the Faculty of Communication at Ankara University. He initially began his master’s studies in Political Science at Middle East Technical University (METU) and later continued them at the Department of Public Administration and Political Science within the Institute of Social Sciences at Ankara University. He also completed his doctoral studies in the same department. With a TÜBA scholarship, he conducted research at the Institute of Political Science at the University of Koblenz–Landau.

In his academic work, Keskin has focused on the sociological, psychological, and technical dimensions of politics, critically examining issues of propaganda and ideology at the master’s level. During his doctoral studies, he conducted an in-depth analysis of the role of professional political consultancy institutions and think tanks in decision-making processes within the framework of political class theory. His current research concentrates on political communication, the effects of artificial intelligence technologies on the digital public sphere, and the human–technology relationship.

Currently serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Communication at Ankara University and undertaking administrative responsibilities in this role, Prof. Dr. Keskin has also authored numerous scholarly publications at both the national and international levels.
