Mapping of sphere to plane methods , conformal mapping of ellipsoid  to plane and UTM

 

Contents of the Course

Mapping of sphere to plane, basic concepts, conformal mappings, Stereographic projection, isometric coordinate system and isometric latitude. Gauss-Krüger mapping of ellipsoid to plane. Computation of series, Computation of Gauss coordinates from Ellipsoidal geographical coordinates. Reduction length and direction. UTM  and transformation for UTM zone.

Objectives of the Course

Adjustment of geodetic networks with indirect measurement adjustment and conditional adjustment methods and analysis of adjustment results by hypothesis tests.

 

Contents of the Course

Station point adjustment. Reduction of residual equations by Gauss elimination and Schreiber methods. Datum problem in triangulation networks. Adjustment of triangulation, levelling and GPS networks with indirect measurement method. Calculation of error ellipse components. Conditional adjustment. Adjustment of triangulation, levelling and GPS networks with conditional adjustment. Hyphothesis tests and significance analysis of adjustment results.

The main objectives of this course are to teach depth concept and horizontal position determination on the sea, sources of the errors in hydrographic surveying and hydrographic mapping.

General information about making hydrographic maps. Pre-studies for hydrographic surveys. Vertical control datum, tide-gauge measurements, Depth measurements: sounding roads, sounding leads, echo sounders, photogrammetric and remote sensing methods. Objectives of the Course

Forming the digital base cadastre maps on national coordinate system from current cadastre data produced different survey methods.

 

Contents of the Course

The cadastral implementation  stages from beginning to end where in the out of or in the boundaries of municipality and contiguous area, in the areas have development plan or not, in the settlement of villages and fields  are described practically depend on demanding of land owner.

Objectives of the Course

Ability to undertake problem identification, formulation and solution: basic problems in implementation process, evaluation of case studies, discussion on solution of these problems.

 

Contents of the Course

Explanations on the basic problems encountered implementation process of development plans in Turkey and on implementation examples. Discussions on suits related to cadastral issues, development plan and development plan applications. Developing idea and analysis capability on sample court decisions and reasons. Preparation of expert reports.
