In this study, Pr Plast S additive was added with different ratios into Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA) mixes that are prepared with Stiren-Butadien-Stiren (SBS) modified bitumen, and its effect on mechanical properties of bituminous hot mixtures was investigated. In the study, 5% SBS modified bitumen was mixed with fiber (0,3% of aggregate content) and samples with Pr Plast S additive (with changing ratios; 0.1%, 0.3%, 0,5%, 0.7% and 1%) were prepared. Marshall Stability and Plastic Deformation, Indirect Tensile and Water Damage experiments were performed on mixes. It was observed that there was a steady increase in the stability values up to 0.7%Pr Plast S additive ration and a decrease after 0.7%. Additionally, it was observed that the modulus of resilient increased up to 0.7 % Pr Plast S additive ratio, while the rate of additional ratio after this additive ratio decreased. It was recorded that the highest resistance to water damage was obtained with 0.5% contribution ratio. According to the obtained datas, the result of PrPlast S addition to SBS modified Stone Mastic Asphalt mixtures has improved significantly in hot and rainy climates.
