In recent years, the frequency of use of steel structures increased. Related to the manufacturing and installation standards of these structures, structural design regulations and codes needs to be different country regulations as well.In this thesis, aimed to comparatively analyze steel structures according to the different country code and regulations in an economic point of view. For this purpose, at the first chapter of the thesis, the types of steel structures and general design parameters of Eurocode 3, LRFD and TS648 are described.
At the second chapter of the thesis, two types of steel structures which are generally preferred recently, analyzed according to the Eurocode, LRFD and TS 648 separately. A single span, an industrial type of steel structure and a multi storey office building with composite floor decks was modeled at the structural analysis software and then analyzed according to the TS498 and DBYBHY 2007 regulations.At the third chapter of the thesis, with the analysis results, section verifications have been calculated according to the European, LRFD and TS 648 regulations and compared the capacity ratios.
At the last chapter, the results obtained from analysis and design according to the mentioned three code and regulations, have compared in an economic point of view and suggestions have been made.
