Hillside or slope movement namely landside or mass movement has regional characteristic in causes, occurence and results is natural disaster. When we take into consideration of the causes of slope and hillside movement, especially Eastern Black Sea Region is highly susceptible to the formation of mass movement due to the geological, geodesic and especially meteorological conditions. In this study, the mass movement in the left slope of the Black Sea Coast Road, Iyidere-Cayeli Section , Derepazarı , Uzunkaya field has been investigated. For this purpose, the research program was done after the mass movement observations at the field. Within the context of preliminary work, the prior works related with the field was examined, geotechnical investigation was made, geological and geotechnical plans were concocted and boring places was determined for experimental data. To get field´s geometry geodetic cross sections was produced. Within the context of field work borings, standart penetration tests and pressuremeter tests were done. Laboratuary test were carried out on the disturbed and undisturbed samples gained from borings. On the basis of attainments data from research, boring logs and tables were prepared. Geological cross section has been prepared by defining critical cross section and stability analysis whereby computer program was prepared on this cross section. Stability analysis have beeen evaluated considering geological and geodetic structure of the field and some geotechnical solution proposals are offered for the reclamation of the field.
